SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Ordinance Number 3202 updates the commercial portions of the City’s zoning code.  The draft code update includes, but is not limited to, the following items: the consolidation of the commercial zoning districts into one chapter; the creation of a Central Business District and an Office/Commercial District; and the elimination the Commercial Warehouse District.  The six commercial districts, if the proposal is adopted, will be named: Central Business, Downtown Commerce, Regional Commercial, Office/Commercial, General Commercial and Neighborhood Commercial.  The revamping of the commercial districts includes major updates to the list of permitted uses and the development standards.
