SUMMARY STATEMENT:
During the May 26 regular meeting, the city council considered a planning commission recommendation to adopt a new zoning code chapter that would allow farmers' markets on religious establishment and school grounds in residential areas. The council decided to send the proposal back to the planning commission with directions for the commission to consider expanding the scope of the proposal. Subsequently, on June 9, the City Council heard additional comments from citizens about the proposal and decided to reconsider it.
