She was selected from among 43 high school students for a $1,000 scholarship. The Center promotes municipal leadership development and civic engagement, and works to support students who demonstrate community leadership and commitment to their city." Amber submitted an application and personal essay demonstrating a significant community responsibility and how the experience helped her grow as a leader.
