RiverCities Transit Performance Standards

SUMMARY STATEMENT:
RiverCities Transit (RCT) has implemented many suggested improvements recommended in the Cowlitz Transit Authority’s Transit Enhancement Plan adopted in 2010. Chapter five of that plan provided an outline of suggested performance standards and measures that could be used to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of existing transit services.
Currently, RiverCities Transit staff provides an informational report to the CTA Board that indicates ridership counts and provides a five year trend in ridership. It has not established a process for evaluating the system or individual route structures for performance over time.
Staff will present recommendations outlined in Chapter five for board consideration.
