Title: COWLITZ-WAHKIAKUM COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS (CWCOG) SERVICES CITY ATTORNEY REVIEW: N/A SUMMARY STATEMENT: During the process of amending the 2015-2016 biennial budget last December, the City Council voted to authorize payment of the first half of the City's 2016 annual dues to the Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments, but not to make the second six months' payment until conducting a review of the organization's services to the City. CWCOG staff will make a presentation during the Council's April 21 Workshop outlining the services they provide for the association of general and special purpose member governments and agencies in the Lower Columbia region. The primary focus will be on the direct and indirect benefits to the City of Longview as a general member participant. SUMMARY STATEMENT:
