Title: 2016 WCIA COMPACT REVIEW The Washington Cities Insurance Authority (WCIA) is a municipal organization of approximately 175 Washington public entities that join together for the purpose of providing liability protection to its members. The City of Longview enters into an annual WCIA COMPACT agreement that focuses pool membership on common goals to reduce and manage liability through organizational attentiveness, educational/training and annual audit/review requirements. During the annual auditing process, WCIA works with the assigned delegate to select one of three types of plans that best meets the members needs. The results of the recent annual review was held on Wednesday, September 7 with WCIA Risk Management Representative. The results of the annual review will be discussed at this workshop.
