Title: RESOLUTION NO. 2234 JAG GRANT COUNCIL STRATEGIC INITIATIVE ADDRESSED: Enhance public safety and emergence response CITY ATTORNEY REVIEW: REQUIRED SUMMARY STATEMENT: An Interlocal Agreement with Cowlitz County is required as part of the FY 2017 Justice Assistance Grant applicaiton. A resolution is required in order for the City Manger to sign the agreement. The Justice Assistance Grant funding ($15,448.00) will be used towards the Longview School Officer Program. The public will be given the opportunity to comment on the use of these grant funds at this meeting. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt Resolution No. 2234 and authorize the City Manager to sign the Interlocal Agreement with Cowlitz County.
