Title: PROPOSED ZONING CODE AMENDMENTS REGARDING EMERGENCY SHELTERS COUNCIL STRATEGIC INITIATIVE ADDRESSED: Council Initiative: Preserve and enhance neighborhoods CITY ATTORNEY REVIEW: N/A SUMMARY STATEMENT: On June 14, the Ad Hoc Committee on Zoning Regulation for Emergency Shelter unanimously voted to forward recommended zoning code amendments for Planning Commission and City Council review. The Planning Commission held a public hearing on August 2. Following the public hearing, the Commission voted 4 to 0 to recommend approval of the proposal without any changes. The proposed zoning code amendments are attached. SUMMARY STATEMENT:

On June 14, the Ad Hoc Committee on Zoning Regulation for Emergency Shelter unanimously voted to forward recommended zoning code amendments for Planning Commission and City Council review.  The Planning Commission held a public hearing on August 2.  Following the public hearing, the Commission voted 4 to 0 to recommend approval of the proposal without any changes.   The proposed zoning code amendments are attached.
