SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Sustaining the past and current economic development efforts has been identified as an important function for the future economic health of our community. The 2015-2016 City budget includes authorization for a staff position to focus on strengthening economic conditions and creating new opportunities by facilitating economic development within our community. At the 2015 Council Retreat, staff was directed to bring forward a proposal to create and fill this position for Council consideration.
