Staff will present the status of the Master Wayfinding Sign Project and seek concurrance with the draft design, proposed destinations and suggested locations.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
Funding has been allocated by Council from "The Big Idea" funding in the amount of $67,676.00 and 2015-2016 Lodging Tax Tourism Fund in the amount of $10,000.00/year for a total of $87,676.00.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:

SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The purposes of the City’s classification and compensation system are to support the recruitment, success, and retention of qualified and productive employees, and to encourage and recognize activities that promote the City’s vision, mission and values.
To that end, the Human Resources Department, as described in the 2017 Work Plan, has conducted a salary survey addressing the internal equity and market competitiveness of non-represented employees of the City for city council review. A council committee (Councilors Melink, Makinster, and Vydra) has reviewed the findings of the survey and concurs with staff’s recommendations for how to implement revisions to the PTA salary schedule in light of those findings.

Review presentation material and direct staff to place the the recommended implementation plan on the agenda of an upcoming council | | |

Staff will provide an update of efforts to bring our abatement code into compliance with State regulations to ensure the ability to lien and collect abatement costs for dangerous structures.

Discussion and direction to City Attorney to prepare an Ordinance ammending Longview Municipal Code Chapter 16.32.
